Privacy Policy

CCAC Archives preserves the teaching ministry and church history of Calvary Chapel Arkansas City. This policy explains how the public website and the private CCAC Archives Backup Utility handle information.

Website information

The site may process information that you choose to provide, such as account details, optional member-directory fields, contact messages, contribution activity, and church-community content. It also keeps limited technical and security records needed to operate, protect, diagnose, and restore the service.

When a verified signup receives its first church approval, the member is listed by default in the private, signed-in member directory with email visible and phone visible if one has been provided. Members can hide their entire listing or either contact field anytime from Profile & privacy. Private administration and member areas require authorization.

Retired Google Drive backup

The scheduled Google Drive backup integration was retired on September 1, 2026. CCAC Archives no longer sends new archive backups to Google Drive or reads Google Drive backup data during normal operation.

Previously uploaded objects were encrypted before leaving the privately administered CCAC Linux server. Those existing encrypted objects are intentionally left in place until the archive owner chooses to remove them; retiring the schedule does not erase stored recovery copies.

Information is used to operate the archive, provide requested church and member features, protect accounts, troubleshoot problems, and preserve recoverable backups.
CCAC Archives does not sell personal information or Google user data.
Information is not used for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.
Service providers process information only as needed to provide infrastructure, email, video, storage, security, or other requested functionality under their own terms.
Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, the church, the archive, or the service.

NASB 1995 Scripture reader

Public sermon pages may load Bible Gateway's official reference-tagging tool to turn Scripture references into NASB 1995 reading links and optional passage popups. When that tool loads or a reader follows one of its links, the visitor connects directly to Bible Gateway, which may receive ordinary connection information such as an IP address, browser details, and the requested passage under its own privacy policy and terms. CCAC Archives does not copy the resulting Bible text into Chuck's AI index.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the archive, church operations, account administration, security, legal obligations, and recovery. Encrypted backup generations are retained until an authorized archive administrator removes them under the documented retention process.

Reasonable safeguards include access controls, encrypted connections, restricted credential files, encrypted off-site backup contents, verification checks, and recovery testing. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and retired Google access

Members can update their profile and directory-sharing choices from their account. Questions or requests concerning site information can be sent through the CCAC contact page.

The Google account owner can revoke the retired Backup Utility's authorization from the Google Account third-party connections page. Revocation does not automatically remove encrypted backup objects already stored in Drive.
